40 - Significance Of Vratmaan
Mama’s house always remained full of visitors. His house hardly remained empty. Once, a couple visited with a small child. They bowed down to Mama. The gentleman requested, ‘Mama please, initiate my son into Vratmaan and bless him.' Mama took the child in his lap. Mama put on a Kumkum dot on his fore head. He put him on a Kanthi. Mama was talking to the gentleman. The child was sleeping peacefully in Mama’s lap. Mama revealed, ‘This child is a very good soul. He is a divine soul. Some of the souls are evil also. As soon as they approach a Mukta, they begin to cry. They do not even allow to put on Kumkum dot. Even then they should be initiated into Vratmaan by Mukta. A child might cry, but we must hold his head forcibly and initiate him into Vratmaan.’
The gentleman was curious. He asked, ‘Mama, why so?' Mama explained, ‘Whenever a Mukta of God initiates a living being, he intents for his betterment. This destroys his past life Karma and evil tendencies. Their aura is purified. Their soul is directed towards God. Mukta intents in such a way that his energy is transformed. His thought process becomes positive. Therefore, he develops good values and he is protected in his life. His life is improved.’
The couple exclaimed, ‘Oh! There is a great significance. Today we have realized that such a great intention is hidden behind the initiation into Vratmaan.’ Mama explained, ‘Muktas of God wish that all the living beings get devoted to God. All the acts performed by a Mukta are for the betterment of living beings.'
