પરમ સુખ પામવા સારુ આગળ સંતો ગોળા ખાઈને તથા ભૂખ, દુઃખ, ટાઢ, તડકો, વરસાદની ધારાઓ સહન કરીને દાખડો-સમાગમ કરતા -એવો ખપ હતો.

In the past, the saints and seekers of supreme joy used to endure pain, hunger, head and cold. They would swallow the `balls` of clay to quench their hunger and face torrential rain to seek communion with God and His brahmanised saints. Such was their spiritual quest that nothing could deter them or dampen their spirit.
